Jordan 2

Jerash is an extensive ancient city with evidence of human occupation as far back as 6500 years ago.  Its residents

have included the likes of Alexander the Great and Emperor Pompey.  The majority of the surviving ruins are

about 2,000 years old or younger.

These guys perform in the Jerash amphitheater and will kindly play Yankee Doodle for any wayward Americans!

Mt. Nebo is the presumed site of Moses' death and burial, as described in Deuteromony (34:1-7)
