Church of St. Nicholas
The Ruldolfinium Theater & Concert Hall
The Astronomical Clock is one of Prague's most famous sights and it was set
into the base of this tower at the entrance of Old Town in 1410. As the hours strike,
there are a series of very elaborate movements that involve characters who portray
Life, Death, St. Peter & the apostles, as well as other lesser known characters. Not
surprisingly, the Earth is depicted as being at the center of the solar system, with
the sun and other planets revolving around it.
