Tiananmen Square
Things are damn big in China. Tiananmen Square is about 108 acres. The Great Wall is 3,700 miles long. And the Forbidden City is a palace complex that covers 178 acres and has 980 surviving buildings containing 8,707 rooms. Any Texans who brags about how everything is bigger where they come from should prepare to be punked on a trip to China...
Forbidden City
Photographs cannot begin to convey the enormity or opulence of the Forbidden City. Visitors pass through a series of huge gates and beyond each gate are increasingly magnificent buildings, courtyards, and gardens. It's hard to describe.
