Another of Asia's well known skylines

Singapore is known for its beautiful landscaping and the cleanliness of its streets.  There's

a $1000 fine for spitting on the sidewalk and it's illegal to bring more than six pieces of gum

into the country, just to help ensure none of it ends up on the street

Thian Hock Keng Temple, which translates to "the temple of heavenly happiness," houses

both Taoist and Buddhist altars.  Construction was begun in 1839 and continued for years.
