The most well-known landmark in Kuwait - Liberation Towers.

The upper dome on the right is an observation area and is approximately

120 meters high.

The observation deck, complete with restaurant, rotates and gives a

360 degree view of Kuwait City and the bay.

Looking down from the observation deck.

An amusement/water park is located near the base of the towers.

The towers were trashed when Iraq invaded Kuwait and as you can see,

Kuwaitis didn't think a whole lot of it.

At the bottom of the towers.

The world's largest wooden boat, as verified by the

Guiness Book of World Records, is dry docked in Kuwait.

They must have shallower roots than cottonwoods.
